Hi OVM-World responsibles,

from the verification guild I am used to get a summary email every week/day/etc that shows to which threads something has been posted to. Is it possible to get something similar for this forum as well?

Best wishes
Andreas

You can get individual, daily, or weekly e-mail updates for the the entire forum by going to Forum Tools and selecting subscribe. You can also subscribe to individual threads by selecting Thread Tools when you are viewing a particular thread.

Hi,

Several "OVM Joint Seminars with Mentor and Cadence" were announced for DATE'08 (10-14 march, Munich), with a registration link towards ovmworld.org, but this event is not mentioned on the web page.
Is it an error or just a delay in the site update?

The link (http://www.ovmworld.org/tradeshows.php)is there now. It was just a delay in the update of the site.

Today, I attended the seminar in Ottawa and I am supposed to receive a questionnaire via email. When I registered at the ovmworld.org and the seminar, I was with a different company and used a different email address.

Although I can change my profile email address and password on this forum, there is no way to change my password on the ovmworld.org or the original email I signed up with. I am afraid I would not receive the questionnaire email and would not be able to download the seminar slides.

Please see if there is a way to link our username/password/email on ovmworld.org to the same one used on this forum.

Regards,

The email I originally registered with is not active anymore, and I cannot change my email on the ovmworld web site.

Could someone please tell me how can I change my email address that I registered at ovmworld not the forum.

I am able to change password for Forum but for Downloads, it is still the initial one.

Where did I go wrong? Do I need to change password at two places ?

Right now for single user name I have two passwords

In the first month or two that this site started, there were two separate login accounts; one for the forum, and one for the downloads. Then someone (who seems to be too shy to admit it) decided to have only one set of logins, and made it so registering for the downloads also registered you for forum. They also decided not to merge existing accounts with the same username. So send an e-mail to the site admin to fix it for you.

Hello Team Admin,

Today I am frequently getting notification with subject "New Thread in Forum" with bogus thread.

I captured dead links from different mails :

http://www.ovmworld.org/forums/showthread.php?p=3578

All mails have same description, here is initial of the mail...

teamspecman has just created a new thread titled - Looking for cool e related
utilities and shareware on ovmworld?? - in the Main OVM Forum forum of OVM Forum,
which you have subscribed to.

This thread is located at:

Here is the message that has just been posted:

Hello OVM e users,

Are you looking for cool [b][i][FONT="Times New

I can see teamspecman has added "Contributions to OVM World" today but "contact@ovmworld.org" sends out such mails which is irrelevant.

Does anyone also experience this ?

HI All,

Somehow I am not able to login to download OVM 2.0.2 package. Please note that I am able to use the same credentials to login for posting a new thread or replies on the Forum.

But the same credentials does not work downloading the package. I had used the same earlier while downloading other OVM packages.

Can anyone from site admin help me out in this?

Ashish

There are so many good words to search for that are less than the minimum word length of 4. Is there any way you can enhance the search capabilities of the forum to allow for shorter search terms? (BFM, DUT, bus, etc)

HI OVM,

Wish this feature in the OVM world website would be quite helpful.. Along side of the thread we have the user name and his status active/non-active.... If they offer a quick chat with the user who is in active state that would be very much helpful..

Its a suggestion & request behalf from my side, wish this would be quite useful.

Thanks,
Desperado --> I am moved "in" & "out" with OVM;), breath in breath out:D :: Kudos

The site administrators have been upgrading the forum software the last few days and some things have not completed yet.

Thing appear to be working now. Search away.

By the way, I noticed that if you go to the advanced search window, the default is only to search from the last three months. Just be aware of that.
