Hi,
I am new to OVM.
I am facing a common problem for most new users now: How to get started?
I have installed OVM. But I can only find the class reference manual. I don't know how to build a testbench for my design.

Could any guru here recommend me some good books or point me to somewhere I can get information on how to start to use it?

Thank you in advance.

As far as I know there is no book/manual available yet. But don't worry, OVM comes with a lot of very nice and clear examples illustrating most of the important concepts you need to get up and running.
I recommend you to have a look to them, especially the xbus example which is pretty complete.

Good luck,
Brice

The AVM Cookbook (http://www.mentor.com/go/cookbook) at is still very useful in getting started if you have never used any other class based methodology before.

Hi,

You can find some OVM tutorials to help you get started on the "Knowhow" section of our web site.
